Civin, Ph.D. Does what he has always done throughout his nearly three-decade career. He continues to accept and treat new and long-time patients to the best of his ability. In fact, he helped found Rose Hill to offer affordable high-quality psychological services to underserved populations because he felt, and still feels, that everyone should have access to the best available mental health care.
Put simply, Dr. Michael A Civin and his team are as committed as they always have been to providing excellent service at relatively low cost. Dr. Civin is a clinical psychology specialist in New York City and he has been a veritable fixture in New York City’s psychological services industry for virtually his entire career, which has now stretched to more than a quarter century.
Dr. Michael Civin’s career has at its base a lot of education including an A.B. Degree from Harvard, attendance at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and two Master of Arts degrees. The first came from the University of Oregon in 1970, while the second, in clinical psychology, came from the Gordon F. Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University in 1986, where he also earned a Ph.D. in 1988. In addition, Dr. Michael A. Civin, Ph.D. has been a professor, faculty member, and associate professor with many universities and other higher learning institutions at various times.
